Stewart Wilson

Stewart Wilson was born in Downham on 22 October 1942 and educated at Pinner Grammar School and Oxford University where he won Blues in 1963 and 1964. He later worked for ICI and played club rugby for London Scottish. Between 1964 and 1968 he scored 68 points in 22 games for Scotland at full-back, and captained his country four times. In 1966 he toured Australasia with the British Isles and played in 20 games, including five tests, and scored 89 points. His six matches for the Barbarians included the fixtures against New Zealand in 1964 and as captain in 1967, plus Australia also in 1967.
