Derek Bolton White

Derek Bolton White was born in Haddington on 30 January 1958 and educated at Dunbar Grammar School. He played in the back-row for Gala and London Scottish and worked as a financial advisor. He also represented the South of Scotland against Fiji in 1982, New Zealand in 1983 and Australia in 1988. Between 1982 and 1992 he gained 41 caps for Scotland and scored 11 tries. On the 1989 British Isles tour of Australia he played in seven matches, including one test and the final fixture against an ANZAC XV. Derek White also toured New Zealand in 1992 with a World XV and played in two of the three international matches.
