Henry W. (Harry) Walker

Harry Walker was born on 11 February 1915 and played all his senior club rugby for Coventry. He was a a machine tool fitter in that city and later ran a public house. During World War II he served in the Army. A regular member of the Warwickshire county team, he played seven times for the Barbarians, including the match against Australia in 1948, and won nine caps for England in 1948 and 1949.
