Paul Turner

Paul Turner, born 13 February 1959, was a member of the Newport club when he made his Barbarians' debut in 1987. Two years later he won three caps for Wales while with his home town club of Newbridge. An inventive as well as goal-kicking fly-half, he later became a widely travelled coach before returning to Wales to become director of rugby at Newport Gwent Dragons. In 2008 he coached the Barbarians in the Mobbs Memorial Match against Bedford Blues.
