Samuel Levi Tomkins

Samuel Levi Tomkins was born in Milton Keynes on 23 March 1989. He played rugby league for Wigan Warriors, initially at stand-off before switching to full-back where he soon gained international honours. He scored three tries on his England debut against Wales in 2009 and by November 2011 had taken his try tally to 11 in 13 internationals. He also won Challenge Cup honours with Wigan in 2011. When he was invited to play on the wing for the Barbarians against Australia later that year, he became the first full-time league professional to make his union debut for the Club.
