Pilu Ian Taele-Pavihi

Pilu Ian Taele-Pavihi was born in Dunedin on 28 September 1981. He played at lock for the local Harbour club and in 2006 represented Otago in six matches in the National Provincial Championship. Between 2005 and 2010 he gained eight test caps for Samoa. In Europe he played initially for Saracens, followed by a loan spell with Leeds Tykes, then a season with Parma in Italy before joining Biarritz Olympique in France.
