Jan Adriaan Strauss

Jan Adriaan Strauss was born in Bloemfontein on 18 November 1985 and educated at Grey College in the city. He played at hooker for the Blue Bulls and the Cheetahs. His eleven matches for South Africa between 2008 and 2010 included nine tests and the fixture against the Barbarians at Twickenham in 2010. A year later he was a replacement for the Barbarians against Australia at the same venue.
