Joel Theodore Stransky

Joel Theodore Stransky was born in Johannesburg on 16 July 1967 and educated at Maritzburg College and Durban University. He played at fly-half for Natal, Northern Transvaal, Western Province, Leicester and L'Aquila. He scored 896 points in 73 appearances for Leicester. Joel Stransky scored the winning drop goal for South Africa against New Zealand in the 1995 Rugby World Cup Final and in all scored 240 points in 22 internationals between 1993 and 1996.
