Tim Richard George Stimpson

Tim Richard George Stimpson was born in Liverpool on 10 September 1973 and educated at Silcoates School, Wakefield, and Durham University where he studied anthropology. He played at full-back for Wakefield, West Hartlepool, Leicester, Perpignan and Newcastle Falcons and later became player/coach at Nottingham. He gained 19 caps for England between 1996 and 2002 and scored 35 points. In 1997 Tim Stimpson toured South Africa with the British Isles and was top scorer with 111 points in seven matches, including 26 points against the Emerging Springboks and 27 against Northern Free State.
