Morne Steyn

Morne Steyn was born in Belville on 11 July 1984 and educated at Sand du Plessis High School. He played at fly-half for the Blue Bulls and gained his first test cap for South Africa against the British Isles in 2009. Later that year he kicked a record eight penalty goals in a Tri-Nations' test against New Zealand. By the start of the 2011 Rugby World Cup he had scored 348 points in 29 tests for the Springboks. In 2009 he was a Barbarians' replacement in the victory over New Zealand at Twickenham.
