Francois Philippus Lodewyk Steyn

Francois Philippus Lodewyk Steyn was born in Bloemfontein on 14 May 1987 and educated at Grey College. A versatile back, he played at centre and fly-half for Natal and the Sharks and in 2009 moved to France and played for Racing Metro. He was first capped by South Africa in 2006 and in the following year played at centre in the Rugby World Cup Final in Paris. By August 2011 he had scored 100 points in 43 tests. He played as centre for the Springboks against the Barbarians at Twickenham in 2007 and the following year was at fly-half for the Barbarians against Australia at Wembley Stadium.
