Claude Brian Stevens

Claude Brian Stevens, known as 'Stack', was born in Godolphin on 2 June 1941 and educated at Leedstown High School and Camborne Technical College. He played at prop for Penzance-Newlyn and Harlequins. He was a farmer in Cornwall where he played county rugby and for South-West Counties against South Africa in 1969 and the South & South-West against Australia in 1973 and 1975. Between 1969 and 1975 he scored two tries in 25 internationals for England. In 1971 he joined the British Isles' tour of New Zealand as a replacement and played in six matches.
