Anthony George Stanger

Anthony George Stanger was born in Hawick on 14 May 1968 and educated in the town and at Edinburgh University. He worked for the Scottish Institute of Sport and played on the wing for Hawick. Tony Stanger scored 24 tries in 52 internationals for Scotland between 1989 and 1998. In 1997 he joined the British Isles tour of South Africa as a replacement and played one match against Northern Free State.
