Peter Kidner Stagg

Peter Kidner Stagg was born in Twickenham on 22 November 1941 and educated at St Paul's School and Oxford University where he gained Blues in 1961 and 1962. He was employed by ICI and at 6' 10" played at lock for Old Paulines and Sale and in 28 internationals for Scotland between 1965 and 1970. He was a member of the North-West Counties XV that defeated Australia in 1966. He also played for North-West Counties against Fiji in 1970 and for the Scottish Districts against New Zealand in 1972. Peter Stagg toured South Africa with the British Isles in 1968 and made 11 appearances, including three tests.
