Peter John Squires
Peter John Squires was born in Ripon on 4 August 1951 and educated at Ripon Grammar School and St John's College in York where he qualified as a teacher. He later became a business representative. He played on the wing for Harrogate and Yorkshire and also played county cricket. He scored six tries in 29 internationals for England between 1973 and 1979. In 1977 he toured New Zealand with the British Isles and scored five tries in eight matches, including one test.
