Rodney So’oialo

Rodney So'oialo was born in Moto'okua on 3 October 1979 and educated at Mana College. He played at number 8 and captained Wellington in 2004 and 2005. He also played for New Zealand Sevens in six tournaments between 2000 and 2002 before gaining his first cap for the All Blacks. Between 2002 and 2009 he played in 62 tests and was captain in five internationals. He also played for New Zealand against the Barbarians at Twickenham in 2009.
