John Hartley Smith

John Hartley Smith was born in Dungannon on 27 July 1926 and educated in Belfast at Methodist College and Queen's University. He played for Collegians and London Irish and gained 12 caps at prop for Ireland between 1951 and 1954. He played for the Barbarians against New Zealand in 1954 and later emigrated to Canada.
