Robert Brian Skinstad
Robert Brian Skinstad was born in Bulawayo on 3 July 1976 and educated at Hilton College and Stellenbosch University. He played at number 8 for Western Province, the Stormers, Cats, Sharks, Golden Lions and in the United Kingdom for the Newport Gwent Dragons and Richmond. He played 47 times for South Africa, including 42 tests and 12 as captain between 1997 and 2007. He was also in the Rugby World Cup squads of 1999 and 2007. Bob Skinstad's nine games for the Barbarians included five as captain, all resulting in victories for the Club.
