George Albert Sherriff

George Albert Sherriff was born in Stepney on 29 May 1937. A timber merchant and company director he played at number 8 for Saracens for ten years and gained three caps for England in 1966 and 1967.In December 1967 he played for the Barbarians against New Zealand at Twickenham. George Sherriff became president of Saracens RFC.
