Jamie Huw Roberts

Jamie Huw Roberts was born in Newport on 8 November 1986 and educated Ysgol Gyfyn Glantaf in Cardiff and the Cardiff School of Medicine where he trained as a doctor. Originally a full-back for Cardiff RFC he was converted as a centre for Cardiff Blues and Wales. He also gained one cap as a wing. In 2009 he toured South Africa with the British Isles and played in five matches, including two tests. By the start of the Rugby World Cup in September 2011 he had played in 32 internationals for Wales since his debut in 2008.
