Trevor Maxwell Ringland
Tevor Maxwell Ringland was born in Belfast on 13 November 1959 and educated at Larne Grammar School and Queen's University, Belfast, where he studied law and qualified as a solicitor. He played on the wing for Queen's University and Ballymena and scored nine tries in 31 internationals for Ireland between 1981 and 1988. In 1983 he toured New Zealand with the British Iales and scored five tries in nine appearances, including one test. He later served on the committee of the Irish Rugby Football Union. Trevor Ringland was selected for the Barbarians in the cancelled fixture against Australia in 1982.
