Christopher William Wallace Rea

Christopher William Wallace Rea was born in Dundee on 22 October 1943 and educated at Dundee High School and St Andrews University. He worked in journalism for the BBC and The Scotsman and The Observer before joining the International Rugby Board. Chris Rea played at centre for West of Scotland and Headingley and scored three tries in 13 internationals for Scotland between 1968 and 1971. He also played for a Scotland XV against Argentina in 1969. On the 1971 British Isles' tour of Australia and New Zealand he played in 10 matches, including two at fly-half.
