Malcolm John Price

Malcolm John Price was born in Pontypool on 8 December 1937. He played at centre for Pontypool and captained the club from 1960 to 1962. In 1960 he played for the combined Pontypool & Cross Keys XV against South Africa. He scored two tries in nine internationals for Wales between 1959 and 1962. On the 1959 British Isles' tour of Australasia he scored 14 tries and a drop goal in 19 appearances, including four tries in his five test matches. In the second test against New Zealand he played at fly-half. Malcolm Price joined Oldham rugby league club in February 1962 and later gained two league caps for Great Britain in 1967 while with Rochdale Hornets.
