Graham Price

Graham Price was born in Mouscar, Egypt, on 24 November 1951 and educated at West Mon School, Alsager College, and UWIST in Cardiff. He originally worked as a laboratory technician. He played at tight-head prop for Pontypool where he was part of a famed front-row unit alongside R.W.Windsor and A.G.Faulkner [q.v.]. He also gained fame for his try-scoring debut for Wales against France in Paris in 1975. He went on to gain 41 caps for Wales over the next eight seasons and play in 12 consecutive tests on three British Isles' tours. In all, he made 37 appearances for the Lions between 1977 and 1983.
