Iain Angus MacLeod Paxton was born in Dunfermline on 29 December 1957. He played club rugby at number 8 for Selkirk and scored five tries in 36 games for Scotland between 1981 and 1988.In 1983 he toured New Zealand with the British Isles and made nine appearances, including the four tests.
