Michael Rowan O’Driscoll
Michael Rowan O'Driscoll was born on 8 October 1978 in Cork and educated at Presentation Brothers College and University College, Cork. He played at lock for Munster where he was a member of the sides that won the Celtic League Final in 2003 and the Heineken Cup Finals in 2006 and 2008, all at the Millennium Stadium. He also captained Munster against New Zealand in 2009. His long service to the province was only interrupted by two seasons with Perpignan. Having played the first of 15 gsmes for Ireland A in 2000 he went on gain 23 caps for Ireland between 2001 and 2011. Mick O'Driscoll also played for Ireland against the Barbarians in Limerick in 2010. Two years later the club honoured him with the captaincy of the Barbarians against Ireland in Gloucester.
