William Guy Morgan

William Guy Morgan was born in Garnant on 26 December 1907 and educated at Christ College Brecon, Cambridge University, where he gained four Blues between 1926 and 1929, and Guy's Hospital. A member of the Swansea and London Welsh clubs, he scored three tries and a drop goal in eight internationals at centre for Wales between 1927 and 1930 and was captain in four matches. He played county cricket for Glamorgan and was a teacher at Radley. He changed his name by deed poll to W. Guy Stewart-Morgan. He died in Carmarthen on 29 July 1973 aged 65.
