Ugochukwu Chiedozie Chinye Monye

Ugochukwu Chiedozie Chinye Monye was born in Islington, London, on 13 April 1983 and educated at Lord Wandsworth College. From 2002 he played on the wing for Harlequins and by 2012 had scored 45 tries in 129 matches for the club. He was also a prominent member of the England Sevens' squad. He won his first cap in 2008 and by December 2012 had scored three tries in 14 tests. In 2009 he toured South Africa with the British Isles and scored five tries in six matches, including two test appearances. In 2006 Ugo Monye toured Scotland and Georgia with the Barbarians; two years later he played for England as a replacement against the Barbarians at Twickenham.
