Ernest James Stewart Michie

Ernest James Stewart Michie was born in Aberdeen on 7 November 1933 and educated at the local grammar school and university. After serving in the Army he worked in forestry. He played at lock for Aberdeen GSFP and London Scottish and in 15 internationals for Scotland between 1954 and 1957. He also played for the North of Scotland against New Zealand in 1953 and Australia in 1958. Ernie Michie toured South Africa with the British Isles in 1955 and played in 11 matches.
