Charles Luke McAlister

Charles Luke McAlister was born in Waitora on 28 August 1983 and educated at Westlake Boys High School. He played at fly-half for the Silverdale club, North Harbour, Auckland Blues and the Maori. He later moved to Europe, firstly with Sale Sharks and, from 2011, with Toulon. Between 2005 and 2009 Luke McAlister scored 153 points in 30 tests for New Zealand and was a member of the 2007 Rugby World Cup squad. He also played for New Zealand against the Barbarians in Twickenham in 2009.
