Seilala J. Mapusua
Seilala Mapusua was born in Moto'otua, Samoa, on 27 February 1980 and educated in New Zealand at Wesley College, Auckland. He played at centre for Otago and the Highlanders and in 2001 was a member of the New Zealand under-21 team that won the World Cup in Australia. He later played for London Irish and in 2006 made his test debut for Samoa. Having played in the 2007 Rugby World Cup he was captain in the same tournament four years later. He also played international rugby for the Pacific Islanders. By November 2011 he had played in 23 tests for Samoa and seven for the Pacific Islanders. By then he had left London Irish and began a new club career in Japan with Kubota Spears.
