Ian Madigan

Fly half, capped 30 times for Ireland. Born 21.3.89 in Dublin. Joined Bordeaux Bègles from Leinster at the start of 2016/7 season. He first appeared for Ireland in the 13-13 draw with France at the Aviva Stadium in 2013 and won the Bank of Ireland Player of the Year and PRO12 Golden Boot awards at the end of that campaign. He featured off the bench in Leinster's 2011 and 2012 Heineken Cup final wins over Northampton Saints and Ulster and also helped Ireland to become the 2014 Six Nations champions.
