Hugo Patrick MacNeill

Hugo Patrick MacNeill was born in Dublin on 16 September 1958 and educated at Blackrock College, Dublin University and Oxford University where he gained three Blues between 1982 and 1984 and was captain in the 1983 Varsity Match. He played at full-back for Blackrock and London Irish and represented Leinster at provincial level. Between 1981 and 1988 he scored ten tries in 37 internationals for Ireland. In 1983 Hugo MacNeill toured New Zealand with the British Isles and played in nine matches, including three tests.
