Kenneth William Kennedy

Kenneth William Kennedy was born in Rochester on 10 May 1941 and educated in Belfast at Campbell College and Queen's University before qualifying as a doctor. He played club rugby for CIYMS in Belfast and London Irish and between 1965 and 1975 gained 45 caps at hooker for Ireland. Ken Kennedy twice toured with the British Isles,playing 18 matches, including four tests, in Australasia in 1966 and ten games in South Africa in 1974. His four appearances for the Barbarians included the match against Australia at Cardiff Arms Park in 1967.
