James William Young Kemp

James William Young Kemp, known as Hamish, was born in Glasgow on 13 February 1933 and educated at Glasgow High School. He worked as a grain merchant and played at lock for Glasgow HSFP. He first played in an international trial at the age of 17 and went on to gain 27 caps for Scotland between 1954 and 1960 when he toured South Africa.
