Brian Warwick Keen

Brian Warwick Keen was born in Bury St Edmunds on 1 June 1944 and educated at Hardye's School, Dorchester and Newcastle University. He was still studying agriculture when he was first capped at prop by England against Wales in 1968. He took his international total to four in the rest of that season's International Championship. He was selected for five international trials over the course of two seasons and later played for Moseley, Northern and Bedford and in the County Championship for Northumberland. He was a member of the Bedford XV that won the RFU Club Knock-out Competition in 1975, defeating Rosslyn Park in the final at Twickenham. In 1970 he played for the North-Eastern Counties against South Africa.
