Elwyn Jones played at lock for Penarth where he was club captain between 1962 and 1964.He was an excavator driver. Having made his Barbarian debut as a late replacement against Newport in 1958 he was selected as an uncapped player for the match against New Zealand at Cardiff Arms Park in 1964.
