Dafydd Rhys James

Dafydd Rhys James was born in Mufulira, Zambia, on 24 July 1975 and educated at Brynteg Comprehensive School in Bridgend. He played at centre and on the wing for Bridgend, Pontypridd, Llanelli, Harlequins, Sale, Celtic Warriors, Cardiff Blues and the Scarlets. Between 1996 and 2007 he scored 16 tries in 48 internationals for Wales and in 1997 scored a try for Wales A against New Zealand. He was a member of the Wales' squad in three Rugby World Cup tournaments between 1999 and 2007.In 2001 he toured Australia with the British Isles and played in seven matches, including the three tests, and scored three tries, including one in the first test.
