Christopher Raymond Jack
Christopher Raymond Jack was born in Christchurch on 5 September 1998 and educated at Shirley Boys School. He made 89 appearances at lock for the Crusaders and also played for Canterbury and Tasman. In England he played for Saracens. Chris Jack played in 67 tests for New Zealand between 2001 and 2007, including the Rugby World Cups of 2003 and 2007, and was his country's second most-capped lock behind I.D. Jones [q.v.]. He also played as a replacement for New Zealand against the Barbarians at Twickenham in 2004 and toured with the Barbarians to Australia in 2009.
