William Gwyn Hullin

William Gwyn Hullin was born in Loughor on 2 January 1942 and was educated at Dynevor Grammar School. He worked as a senior bank executive and played at scrum-half in 152 matches for Cardiff between 1963 and 1969. He scored 43 tries including a try and a drop goal in the 14-8 victory over Australia in 1966. He also played for Aberavon and London Welsh and in one international for Wales against Scotland in 1967. Bill Hullin captained the Barbarians five times, including the match against South African Barbarians on the 1969 tour and against Oxford University in their centenary match in the same year. He died in October 2012 aged 70.
