Timothy James Horan

Timothy James Horan was born in Darlingshurst, New South Wales, on 18 May 1970 and educated at Dowlands College in Toowoomba. He played at scrum-half for the South club in Brisbane before switching to centre and occasionally fly-half for Queensland. He was a member of the Australian teams that won the Rugby World Cups in England in 1991 and in Wales eight years later. Between 1989 and 2000 he scored 30 tries in 80 tests for his country. Tim Horan twice played for the Wallabies against the Barbarians in 1992 and 1996, scoring tries in both matches and leading the side in the latter.
