Grahame Thornton Ridgeway Hodgson

Grahame Thornton Ridgeway Hodgson was born in Ogmore Vale on 1 December 1936 and educated at Ogmore Grammar School and St Luke's College, Exeter, where he qualified as a teacher. He played at full-back for Exeter, Bridgend, Aberavon and Neath. He was club captain of Neath in 1964/65. He represented the combined Neath & Aberavon XV against South Africa in 1961, New Zealand in 1963 and Australia in 1966 and also Glamorgan & Monmouthshire XV against Fiji in 1964. Between 1962 and 1967 Grahame Hodgson played in 15 internationals for Wales and kicked four penalty goals. In 1964 he toured South Africa with Wales.
