Norman MacLeod Hall

Norman Macleod Hall, known as Nim, was born in Huddersfield on 2 August 1925 and educated at Worksop College and St Mary's Hospital. He later worked as an insurance broker and as a licensee. He played for the Army, Combined Services, Huddersfield and Richmond. In 17 internationals for England between 1947 and 1955 he played at fly-half, centre and full-back, was captain 13 times, and scored 39 points. Nim Hall died on 26 June 1972, aged 46.
