Jeremy Clayton Guscott

Jeremy Clayton Guscott was born in Bath on 7 July 1965 and educated at Ralph Allen Comprehensive School in the city. Originally employed in the building trade he is now a successful television broadcaster. He made 266 appearances at centre for Bath and scored 30 tries in 65 internationals for England between 1989 and 1999. On three tours with the British Isles to Australia (1989), New Zealand (1993) and South Africa (1997) he played in 22 games, including eight tests, and scored the crucial drop goal that secured a series victory against the Springboks. He captained the Barbarians against Cardiff in 1993. In 1990 he played for England against the Barbarians.
