William John Heaton Greenwood

William James Heaton Greenwood was born in Blackburn on 20 October 1972 and educated at Sedbergh College and Hatfield College, Durham. He played at centre for Preston Grasshoppers, Waterloo, Leicester and Harlequins. He scored 31 tries in 55 internationals for England between 1997 and 2004. In three British Isles tours to South Africa (1997), Australia (2001) and New Zealand (2005) he played in 15 matches, including three tests. In 2006 he captained the Barbarians against Scotland. Will Greenwood is the son of JRH Greenwood [q.v].
