Kenneth George Goodall

Kenneth George Goodall was born in Leeds on 23 February 1947 and educated at Foyle College and Newcastle University. He played at No 8 for the City of Derry club. After a brief career in chemical engineering he returned to teaching and became a vice-principal. In 1966 he played for Ulster in the 6-all draw against Australia. He scored three tries in 19 internationals for Ireland between 1967 and 1970. After joining the 1968 British Isles' tour of South Africa as a replacement, he was unfortunately injured in his only appearance against Eastern Transvaal. In 1970 he signed for Workington Town rugby league club and played for three seasons. Ken Goodall died on 17 August 2006, aged 59.
