Matthew James Giteau

Matthew James Giteau was born in Sydney on 29 September 1982 and educated at St Edmund's College in Canberra. He played for the Brumbies and the Waratahs. Primarily a fly-half, he also played at centre and scrum-half for Australia. By July 2011 he had scored 684 points, including 29 tries, in 92 tests since his debut in 2002. Matt Giteau was a member of the Barbarian teams that beat South Africa in 2007 and 2010 and New Zealand in 2009. He also captained the Barbarians in the 2010 victory. In June 2009 he scored 19 points for Australia against the Barbarians in Sydney. In 2011 he signed for RC Toulon in France.
