Jerome Gallion was born in Toulon on 4 April 1955 and worked as a dentist. A fine scrum-half for Toulon, he gained 27 caps for France between 1978 and 1986 and scored 10 international tries. He also scored on his only appearance for the Barbarians, against Australia in 1984.
