Thomas Geoffrey Evans

Thomas Geoffrey Evans was born in Pembrey on 1 May 1943 and educated at Pembrey Comprehensive School, Llandovery College and Bangor University. He qualified and worked as a lecturer. He played at lock for London Welsh where he was club captain in 1974/75 and later became coach from 1978 to 1982. He also represented London Counties against South Africa in 1969 and in 1973 East Wales against Australia and Welsh Western Counties against Japan. Between 1970 and 1972 he gained seven caps for Wales. Geoff Evans joined the 1971 British Isles' tour of New Zealand as a replacement and played in six matches.
