Michael Anthony Francis English
Michael Anthony Francis English was born in Limerick on 2 June 1933 and educated at Rockwell College. He was an insurance inspector and played at fly-half for Lansdowne and Bohemians. He also represented Munster against Australia (1958), South Africa (1960) and New Zealand (1963). Between 1958 and 1963 he scored three drop goals in 16 internationals for Ireland. On the 1959 British Isles' tour of Australasia his appearances were limited to only two after sustaining an injury. Mick English died on 27 April 2010, aged 76.
